(calls to pay £16 to come with the taxi to them) normally we would not have any trouble over eating. my partner ordered the lamb shank and for the price of £20 we felt that the price-performance ratio did not correspond to the usual standards of grange farm. he had to attack for sweetness, as it was barely served with the dish. I had gone with a traditional gammon and iron, and I also felt underwhelmed by him (even if it was at least £8 less) as we often dine in greene king pubs and had better. unnecessary to say our waitress jess was brilliant, bar staff were as attentive as they are in the rule and how the alcohol flows, the disappointing food does not ruin ours. perhaps the cook could re-view the offer at both dressed!
I take an older friend of lady to lunch in the grange once a month. she goes with a walker and finds access to the restaurant very well. Usually we have a table for two in the ground floor near the disabled toilet, but due to recent renovations this was not possible. her personal apologised and showed us a nice table further down in the room. we enjoyed our meal very much (hunters chicken, followed by eton mess and coffee). her personal is excellent and we look forward to our next visit.
Very nice eating, but difficult when they are a fussy eater. instead of expensive for a casual meal, and some of the food was not very hot. slow delivery to the table especially for a Saturday night. the waitress was helpful and the job was very nice.
Excellent evening dinner on Sunday, especially wonderful yorkshire puddings.
We really enjoyed our night out. The food was lovely, hot and nicely displayed, attention to us was very pleasing, overall a great place to eat, meet friends and socialise.
