Feedback gevenI had to try this place while I was in town. After waiting around 15 minutes for a few slices and spending nearly $20, I ended up with a slice that was just slightly better than average.
The slices are tasty, but the pies don't measure up. It seems like they don't stretch the dough as thin for takeout pizza, which affects the overall flavor. At $4.50 a slice, it’s starting to feel like they’re not worth the price.
We had a wonderful dinner at Gios. We've never had a bad experience there. The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. Thank you to the Gio family!
The pizza was awesome. Right amount of sauce to cheese. The spaghetti with redclam sauce was awful. No seasoning in the sauce. Sauce had a orangey color. Egg plant had too much cheese and was dry. We have been going to gios since 2000. Food was always awesome. The thing that changed is the old guys are gone. They knew how to cook, they would come out of the kitchen and talk to staff and customers, and would get a glass of wine from the bar. A new generation of Giordano is running the place now. Hopefully they can come up to speed and run it like their fathers and uncles.
Overpriced AF but at least it's edible.
