Jason's Deli - OAK BROOK

My husband and I had a long day at work and decided to stop by the deli for some soup and salad. It was our first time dining there, though I've eaten here often. The service was friendly, and the food was good. After we finished, we gathered ourselves and headed to our car, only to discover that the battery was dead.

I ordered a Reuben sandwich from here, and it wasn't until I got home and started eating it that I remembered why I rarely visit Jason's. The meat was way too thick and already pre-sliced when served. The quality was poor, and it was hard to chew. The last time I went to Jason's, I was still working, but I retired in 2018. My appreciation for a good corned beef has definitely changed after experiencing a quality deli. It seems I won't be having another Reuben anytime soon because this was really disappointing. What a waste of money!

This is the last Jason's Deli in the area, and I'm surprised that all the others have closed down. This location is great, and the food was fresh and delicious. The additional options, such as the soft serve ice cream and drink machines, are a nice touch and are well taken care of.

Seems crowded but you can always find a seat. Great sammich and a nice salad bar ... Btw ice cream cone for dessert....
