The owner, Michelle, tends to be very chatty and often drinks a lot while at the restaurant. She seems to intimidate her employees and makes customers hesitant to interact with her. There seems to be something off about her demeanor. It's concerning when an owner appears to be inebriated at their own establishment and then complains about financial issues, especially after having polished off an entire bottle of Fireball. This situation has been ongoing for 20 years, and it gives the impression of a mismanaged business.

Great neighborhood bar! Everyone that comes to Tap’s Pub is family!

I am a life-long resident of oak forest....since Covid I have really ceased to go out....well....yesterday...i thought heck with it....anyhow...i was having a beer...when the bartender started making conversation....well some fella.....started chiming in...and INSULTING ME...commenting on the conversation of which he wasn 't even in. i came in and asked the bartender how much a beer was....and the fella 's first comment was i have money....I can pay for my beer..i have money I paid for MY BEER...I don 't know why this low life even started talking...he was strange this dirt bag who looked like Fred Flinstone...kept it up...my reply...hey there fred flintone i have had enough...yabadabado someplace else...ya know...i hope he didn 't kill anyone driving home in hindsight....anyhow.....the bar was EMPTY....and i know why.....stale alcohol stench....old.....and of course the drunkard who can 't handle his booze and becomes ANGRY....I WILL NEVER GO IN HERE AGAIN...as a matter of fact...i 'll bet....that....before too long.....it 'll be GONE...and good riddens for oak forest because dive joints such as this dump.... I must confess, I like many have fallen on hard times..,.and i did cry for this man 's insults ...that I am poor....this bar is bad...bad...energy bad people NASTY....I can 't wait until it 's up for sale....KNOW IT.
