Mikado Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

I visited this restaurant for a business lunch with six people. While they offer a hibachi show, it wasn't the most suitable atmosphere for discussing business. We chose to sit at a table where half of us ordered sushi and the other half ordered hibachi. I opted for sushi, which was quite good, though the menu wasn't very extensive. The main issue was that the sushi arrived at least ten minutes before the cooked meals, leading to an awkward dining situation. Typically, there's a slight stagger in timing, but this was a bit longer than expected. Aside from that minor hiccup, everything was enjoyable, and I have no major complaints.

The food was excellent, including the sides. I ordered chicken fried rice and Rangoon, and both were delicious.

The service is much better on the teppanyaki side. The food is decent, but the quality of the meat could be improved, and I would have appreciated larger portion sizes. I regret not taking a photo of the tray before digging in. The overall flavors were not as strong as I had hoped; they felt quite diluted. Given the price, I expected a better experience.

First time eating here. Met a few friends for lunch. The food and service were good.

Jeremiah was the absolute best hibachi guy ever!!!! We had fun and he’s also funny!
