Walmart Supercenter - Oak Grove

This place is hit and miss. Some products are out of stock yet they'll have the higher priced items in the generic place on shelf. When using self checkout, be prepared to prove you're not a criminal. And if you happen to use a backpack, they will harass you about shoplifting and search you.

Here's an idea: The Walmart Pharmacy in Blue Springs provides curbside delivery for medications, which is great, especially if you're contagious and shouldn't be entering the store. Unfortunately, at Oak Grove Pharmacy, you're out of luck, and so is everyone else who needs to pick up their prescriptions in person.

I've been shopping at the Oak Grove Walmart for a while now. While it doesn't have the extensive selection of larger Walmarts, you can usually find what you need. I frequently use the Pharmacy because of their affordable prescription prices! I also shop for groceries here, although the selection is not as wide as in bigger stores.

This Walmart isn't a Super Walmart, but it had everything I needed. The employees were very attentive, asking me three times if I was finding what I needed. This is quite rare; as I travel across the country, this is the first time I've encountered staff so eager to assist. Typically, I have to search for someone to help me, and they often seem clueless. I'm genuinely impressed—management is clearly doing their job well. I don't usually write reviews for Walmart because I've often found their staff lacking in customer service skills, but this experience was a pleasant surprise.
