Oak Island Sub Shop

I've been coming to this restaurant for many years and have always tried to be patient with the time it takes to make the sandwiches, even though it's often longer than expected. However, today was a different story— it took over 30 minutes for two simple, non-toasted sandwiches to be prepared and served. Honestly, making sandwiches shouldn't be that complicated, and there's no reason it should take this long. I really hope the owner pays attention to this feedback. Your sandwiches are delicious, and I always enjoy them, but there seems to be a flaw in your process if it takes this long to prepare just two sandwiches.

This was our first visit to this beach, and although we've dined at many other places along the East Coast, we've learned that the quality of the food can be quite unpredictable. Unfortunately, this experience was one of the more disappointing ones. We ordered simple sandwiches, but the bread felt a bit stale, and there was hardly anything between the two halves. We expected this to be one of the safer choices while we were in town, but it turned out to be the least satisfying.

I often place online orders and pick them up on my way home from work. I've never had to wait long for my orders. They are very accommodating with my gluten allergy, and I’ve never had any issues, which is quite impressive.

I got the chicken chipotle bacon sub and it hit the spot! Quick and friendly service!

The muffuletta is my favorite. So delicious. We love these subs.
