Carnivore - Oak Park

This place is surprisingly fantastic! I never would have thought that a butcher shop could offer such delicious food. The quality is exceptional—it's like dining at a fancy restaurant, but at half the price. Everything I've tried has been wonderful. I highly recommend the salmon sandwich, the steak, and any of the sides, especially the potatoes. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I haven’t purchased much from the meat and seafood counters since they can be a bit pricey, but the quality of what I have bought is excellent and locally sourced.

The Fried Chicken Sandwich is absolutely delicious! The meat is well-seasoned, tender, and juicy. The fries were hot and nicely seasoned as well! The staff was fantastic too! I will definitely be returning!

I would like to give a special mention to Carnivore. The food is outstanding, and they went above and beyond to help me when I accidentally selected the wrong delivery date. As soon as I realized my mistake and called them, they quickly made arrangements for me with very little notice. The food is delicious, and the staff are fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Good food, good meat, good god get in here! The product is beyond reproach and the people make it all work. Need a classic? The rib eye, the strip, the porterhouse are there in first class examples if you get there in time. Want to experiment? Ask for a recommendation and come home with some tri tip, a flat iron or some bavette. Do not forget the fish the Skuna Bay salmon is fantastic.

Great service! Roast beef sandwich is delish! Fried chicken sandwich is good too. The seasoned fries are the BEST! They also have a nice selection of meats, sausages and seafood, some unique grocery items, local produce and flowers. Also picked up giant crab cakes, lettuce, lemon aioli pate. When it’s nice out, grab a sandwich and eat at the park across the street. Food is high quality and a great price (sandwich fries for $12)! I’m sad we did not try this place sooner. It’s definitely worth the visit.
