Scratch on Lake - Oak Park

The Texas burger was delicious, it was so good that I almost forgot to take a picture. During my first visit, everything was fantastic! I typically don't like pretzel buns, but this was an exception. The beer and cider selection was excellent, the location was beautiful, and the service from the friendly staff was great. This restaurant has quickly become a new local favorite of mine.

We were sat quickly and all the staff was very kind to us! We enjoyed that while the staff was prompt and on top of everything, they didn?t hover over our table. The appetizer we got was SO incredible. We got the pretzel bites with cheese and I would goback simply for this. Amazing!! Of course I didn?t get a photo of them. But then I got a pulled pork sandwich and my sister gotthe Texas burger and holy moly, they were both incredible! Lovely atmosphere, great reasonably priced food, and friendly staff!We will definitely be back!

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, in the early afternoon. The hostess was polite and friendly. Our server, Tristan, was also polite, respectful, kind, and helpful. The burgers and fries were tasty, the chicken strips were soft and delicious, and the ranch sauce was a nice touch. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was noticeable. The indoor atmosphere was calm and peaceful, and the music contributed to the friendly mood. We appreciated that Tristan and another server checked in on us without being intrusive. We hope to return soon!

Out of towner experience Was recommended by a local and friend of mine about this place. We sat outside their place and had an awesome waitress. Got the Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese, Bigger version. Was definitely worth the $18 tag. Wasn't super spicy,wasn't over creamy. Just the right amount of everything. My girlfriend got the Asian Bowl and she really enjoyed it. The saucethat it was paired with added an extra boost in flavor and comes highly recommended. My friends got the Impossible Burgers andreally enjoyed them.

I recently moved to Oak Park and Scratch on Lake was the first restaurant we tried. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the Cuban sandwich. The 805 Pale Ale beer was also delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful and the waitresses were attentive and friendly. We have already been back twice because we liked it so much. This will definitely be a regular spot for us!
