Pete's Place - Oakhurst

I’ve been going to this place for as long as I have been in the area (12-13+ years) the original owners were awesome and I absolutely LOVED AND ADORED most staff. Now original owners sold to whom ever and as they’ve seemed to broaden the menu a bit they’ve also made changes which I heard was not supposed to happen to the items served. They used to have the best ranch now it’s OK. They have updated their hours and stay open later which is great if the food was still the same. It’s always been a tad pricey, so now in the economy how it is with inflation The food seems worth it as prices haven’t changed from their restaurant.

When I got my food, I found a bug in my food and they refused to give me my money back

The burgers and fries were fabulous. Just the perfect toasty edge bun with a tasty burger patty and all the toppings. The fries were fresh and crispy. The only drop in rating was that the place was a bit messy but I'm thinking we came in toward the end of a very busy night.

The service from the waitress and cashier was excellent, very friendly and efficient, but unfortunately the bathrooms are very dirty and reek of urine, the dining area has a very bad smell, the floors and tables do not seem to be disinfected or used any chemicals to remove the bad smell, I think they use the bathroom mop in the dining area and that's why the whole place stinks of dirty mop and urine, unfortunately the kitchen has 3 cooks who are slow, there were 3 cooks and it took them too long to get one Order eggs and bread cake, the place has only 5 tables, I don't understand how it can take so long, they should improve the cleanliness and efficiency of the cooks and they will be even better, Sorry for the constructive and very honest criticism, I hope it helps you.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious. Go hungry. They serve you a large quantity of food. If you're going to Yosemite through Oakhurst, stop at Pete's Place for an unforgettable meal. Parking: It's a large parking lot with plenty of spaces Kid-friendliness: Several of the people dining at Pete's had children. Everyone enjoyed the food.
