A hidden gem in oakland, one must try that has always been on my list of places to try in oakland, but I never have a chance. we were on Saturday night.

Tasty and authentic Laotian food! the fried riceball salad in the champa sampler was delicious. we also have (not shown) pad ew, a chicken curry.

I love that champa is in my neighbourliness, but the vegan supplement is out of control. I ordered the tom kha with the choice of meat and my choice was the vegan.

The best dry-fried salt and pepper ribs in Oakland can be found here. Make sure to order the medium size for only $5.75. Absolutely delicious!

I don't understand some of the negative reviews, this restaurant is fantastic. They offer basic Chinese fast food at great prices. Every time I visit, the place is very clean, which is surprising considering its small size. I particularly enjoy their vegetable lo mein, although one time it was a bit dried out. The kind older man working there insisted on making me a fresh batch. The staff are hardworking and friendly. If you're on a budget and looking for a satisfying meal, this is the place to go!
