Customers can be rude to you as their thoughts are you yourself because of their hard life. The professionals: The foods are cheap but good, and the parking lots are often available while others are missed around shops such as Cam Huong or Ba Le.
Always go for banh mi other vietnamese favorites. Many fast authentic premade plates to choose and sesame balls, Chinese donuts and spring rolls.
I?m here for their Vietnamese ice coffee most of the time (it?s strong and delicious), and somehow they turned this coffee and sandwich place into a Vietnamese/Asian mini mart. Lots of asian products (from all over) available here. Parking is difficult since there are only a few spots outside, and also keep in mind this is a sketchy part of the city of Oakland (I always try to be alert in this type of neighborhood)
This place is not like the Lee's Deli in San Francisco. It's mostly a Vietnamese grocery store that makes its own baguettes. My sandwich was a bit soggy. I asked for provolone cheese and got American cheese, even though the staff member taking my order said she understood the order. The staff did not seem fluent in English. The baguette itself was very good and freshly baked.
Lee's sandwiches, fresh bread hot foods are good, just be careful with factory packaging foods, some about to expire or is already expired thats why is cheaper than regular asian supermarkets.
