First time visitor and it was great, would definitely recommend and
Hella over priced and not good at all. I don't feel inclined on making yelp reviews ever but this place was not good.
We had the Catalina Burger and loaded fries with the gluten free- everything was excellent! Great location, we had a nice sunny seat by the window and then owner Darren came over and chatted with us and double checked to make sure our order adhered our dietary restrictions.
A friend recommended this place, so I decided to stop by and get the Malibu Burger single, which tasted great! The bun had a great crisp, almost like it was toasted on the inside. The burger didn't taste overly greasy and it came with Impossible meat (though you can switch it for Beyond Meat, if you'd like). It wasn't too heavy, but I still had trouble finishing (I ate 3/4 of mine). Even though we got dine-in, the burgers were still wrapped in single-use packaging and all placed in a paper to-go bag. This means you likely save on carbon emissions because you're forgoing meat, but create carbon emissions from the single-use packaging and lack of compost bins. Overall, this is still probably more eco-friendly than your typical fast food chain. ECO NOTES (Dine-In)Note: The entire order came in a paper bag, so it's basically to-go. Compost Bins: Not available. Only two trash bins.Dine-In Dishware: Burger wrapped in paper (I'm guessing parchment paper to deal with heat)Napkins: Single-use disposable paper napkins/paper towels*Utensils: Plastic single-use utensils**Since these are in a holder, you can easily choose to bring your own (BYO).
