It was the best buttered mixed vegetables I've had so far at any of the seven Indian restaurants I've visited. The mixed chicken coconut was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and just the right level of spiciness as I requested. However, the mango lassi could use some improvement. In my opinion, the best mango lassi is still from Naan n' Curry on Salvio St in Concord.
We had a fantastic dinner! The chai and lentil soup were complimentary, and the service was excellent. We dined on the patio out back, which had a quirky yet comfortable ambiance. There was a small mix-up with our orders – I ordered a mild chana paneer but received my boyfriend's hot version, while he got my mild dish. However, we both loved the garlic naan; it was outstanding. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends!
The entrance has a bit of a dim ambiance, but I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb saag paired with rice and naan. The complimentary lentil soup was delicious, and the chai was fantastic. The patio is lively and offers a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and they are open for lunch!
They no longer serve complimentary rice and daal, but that's okay. The prices are reasonable, and the patio is very relaxed. My order was large enough to easily feed two people. Don't be misled by the "vegan" label; the menu includes both vegan options and plenty of traditional omnivore dishes. Overall, it's a great place!
