Made reservations, first parking was not easy to find, secondly, it wasn’t really clear where you walk to be seated, had to walk through their small bar people standing, the owner maybe ..was on the phone, told me to waitfinally seats us at the end of a bright dining area near the LOUD bar, finally, he tells my fiancé no baseball capsmeanwhile the website had no mention of attire, nor did they mention it when reservation’s were made, and there was zero postings. Majority of guests were wearing jeans, a guy at the bar in a baseball cap, atmosphere was very casual. When I questioned where the policy was, he stated there was none. We walked out, why support a restaurant that is biased and selective. I was rather surprised, especially since we love good foodcapital grill baseball caps allowed, Flemmings baseball cap allowed, Ruth Chris allowed, The Station Same, Brass City same and a number of so many other fine dining restaurants throughout CT. Personally, I was disgusted by his ignorance and lack of professionalism.
Great authentic Italian food in a very classy but comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent, food was amazing with nice sized portions, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. The restaurant is a bit out of the way to get to if you're not from the area but well worth the trip. Be sure to make a reservation and if you like seafood, the clams Patricia is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Service: Dine in
