Gege's Pizza - Oakville

First off, walking through the door, the place already looks terrible but we decided to go in because me and my son assumed it would be a great family run restaurant... we were Wrong. The place is filled with rude men who drink and watch soccer even during the morning. Not only were the customers incredibly rude, the chef took it to a new level. I might have been able to give a better review of their food, but I never got it... The chef came up to us rudely and said they couldn't make the pizza we wanted, and when we asked why, he shooed us out of the restaurant... terrible customer service and the food looked terrible to. Don't recommend.

The place is simple . My favorite Lunch is the BBQ Chicken Portuguese style and a nice Italian salad . Its a simple meal that hits the spot and they serve it quickly . Well done Gege Pizza

I called to place an order for deliver, the guy on the phone took my order then placed me on hold to give me a total. 5 minutes later, another man answer the phone and asks what I want. I explained to him I was waiting on a total and he said "you need a total for what?" In the rudest way possible. I explained I was waiting for a total for delivery when he snapped and said "we're not delivering" and hung up before I could change my order to pickup. I called back and said I had just placed an order and was going to change it to pickup when and he snapped back and said "NO DELIVERY". I then said no pickup and he was like.. "what do you want?"I don't really care how good this pizza is, I won't be back. I'll take my business somewhere where they treat you like a customer and not as an annoyance. Sorry for trying to give you business.

Best pizza in town. The crust is unbelievable and has that old school oven taste, that the commercial pizza joints can not replicate. Tried the peri-peri chicken and was amazing. Also have friends who love their veal sandwich. And contrary to other review, Joe still owns the place.

Besides making a good pizza, this eatery makes alot of portugese food. Althought small in size, they cater to alot of people from this country. Separate area for ordering takeout food. This eatery has been around for over thirty years.
