Goldstar Cafe - Oakville

I was simply refused a salmon sandwich because they didn't feel like making one.. so that's the last time I'll be there. The food doesn't look fresh anyways.

I think Goldstar has the nicest setting in Oakville. It's bright, clean and open. Food selections are good as is the coffee. They are at the eastern most end of the downtown strip but well worth the walk.

Still call this place "Marilyn's" from the previous owner -- but the place is nice. They have a nice food selection and finally have the LCBO licence. I think they need to expand the food selection now that Second Cup and the recent relocation of Star Bucks towards the middle of the downtown core may take business away.

I find Goldstar to have the nicest environment of all the many cafes in Oakville. Usually not too full. The food choices are excellent too. Comfortable setting and pleasant ambiance.

Great atmosphere and seating, a good place to study or work on your laptop. Prices are a bit high but the food and drinks are good and there's gluten free and vegan options.
