They make it so easy to pull off great events due to their attention to detail and the ease in which they make everything. No request too big or small. The food is ample and very tasty. Thanks guys, we keep coming back!
We have attended weddings, funeral luncheons, business events, charity events, anniversary and birthday parties at Le Dome. This is a family owned business that takes great pride in providing great food and service whatever the occasion. They are reasonably priced and will work with you to provide your guests the experience that you desire. We have been to Le Dome many, many times over the last 20 years. The last event that we attended was a funeral luncheon in the fall of 2015. The food was excellent and they provided a podium with microphone so that the family could say a few words to the attendees. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Bathroom facilities were very clean.
We recently visited Le Dome for a family baptism with approx 100 people. It was a very pleasant experience. Buffet dinner was above average although the choices were not fancy they were well executed and very tasty. My favourites was the penne pasta, roast beef and salad. Everyone enjoyed the food and ambiance. The only criticism I have is that the staff were not properly trained to make a proper cappuccino or expose and the wine glasses had lipstick on them from previous guests.
We rented the Angelo Room for 200+ guests and the comments about the great food was abundant. The service from one particular server was not good, but all others were excellent. The atmosphere was incredible and working with Robin, the manager to book the facilities, was a delight.
My wife and I attended her cousin's wedding reception at Le Dome on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.Venue: We were very impressed with the look and feel of this venue; very elegant. There are a few minor drawbacks: a) location of washrooms; men's at the back of the hall proper -- so you must walk through all the other guests tables to get to it; women's was properly located outside hall proper; b) really drafty -- the service door located adjacent to the table of honour was adjar for some reason. Many women were running back to coat check to fetch their jackets. c) nobody manning coat check when we left -- another guest actually hopped over the counter to fetch our coats... poor security here. I'm happy nothing was taken or taken by mistaken identity. d) There is only one bar in the "Angelo" room; this causes huge lineups. Most other receptions I've attended had at least two bars. The bartenders held their own, but they were under siege all night non stop... my compliments to Frank who tended bar this evening very cool under pressure didn't flinch... not once, knew his drinks too. Thanks Frank! Food: I can only comment on the menu items chosen by the bride and groom;antipasto bar: high quality options: prosciutto, bocconcini, seafood (squid, muscles), marinated veggies, legit parmigiano from Italy, pizza, smoked salmon, bruschetta. first course: soup -- chicken; a nice way to transition from antipasto to second course; tasty.second course: pasta -- two varieties: penne in a classic tomato sauce + tortellini alfredo. I enjoyed them both; aldente, and tasty. Pasta is seemingly simple, yet complicated; I have seen many, many establishments mess this up. In my opinion, Le Dome did a very good job with second course. main: two meats: chicken + veal breaded; both were tasty, I found the chicken a little dry, and the veal a little tough.dessert: ice cream stuffed crepe -- not made on site but tasty and not overly sweet.midnight table: assortment of cakes including cheesecake, pastries... not overly sweet yet tasty, but left me wanting something sweet.Overall meal: Overall, there was clearly a consistency in quality from start to finish. The "wow" factor was established early with the high quality antipasto bar, and maintained very well throughout. However, dessert left me wanting something more decadent which never came at midnight table. Overall, we had a great time. Considering the challenges involved in preparing this many meals (close to 250 I'm guessing) I give Le Dome a strong score. Definitely, one of my best experiences.
