When another guest inquired about their meal, they confirmed it was good. It’s clear that some people can be hard to please, especially in the current demanding hospitality environment. I believe in showing some grace, particularly when the staff goes above and beyond for you. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and ambiance a perfect 10/10. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to our friends. Thank you for the Mother's Day special for all guests! Unfortunately, I think the restaurant needs to rethink its service management strategy. Fixing problems by offering free bread on the house and the offering up a gift certificate for next visit (which never arrived and if it did/does, I 'll be deleting it). We won 't be coming back ever to this establishment and we will let our network of folks know about the horrible experience it was. Here are the details: Our evening tonight started with a reservation. Our table was given to the people in front of us because they complained they wanted a table without a reservation . This was followed by the fact the restaurant had the baseboard heaters on, and we were seated there instead and promised another table later. We were also given TMI that it was the owners of property causing the issue. Really? Reality was that wasn 't so bad, so we indicated we were ok to stay at that table. 15 mins later, we got a menu (not exaggerating), after the waitress for our table asked if we knew what we wanted (really? You 're serving out table and it took you 15 mins to get here and you didn 't give us a menu; maybe it was the manger 's role the one who gave away our table)? My wife indicated she 's allergic to mussels and we ordered a platter that did have mussels in it, we were offered to have it separated which we said, ok to. It came together. So, we asked for a replacement. It came back, less the snow crab, no mussels, and no utensils provided. My wife had to ask about the snow crab that 's when we were offered free bread for our troubles. So, we waited some more and then one snow crab piece came, but no utensils. We asked to speak to the manager. That took another 10 minutes and our waitress came by and asked if she should serve us our main meals. We were NOT the only ones in the restaurants with a problem that night, the manager told us!!!! So that was the explanation for our experience. TMI. Time for a change folks if this place wants to stay in business in my books.... BTW, I have NEVER posted a negative experience in any forum until today.....
