The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro

The burgers are flippin' fantastic, the fries are amazing and the drinks come in measuring cups (cute little novelty). It's pricy for burgers, but none of our party of 4 was disappointed with the food. Collectively, we ordered a plain jane, a cheeseburger, something with bacon and bacon chips, and a huge poutine. Everyone loved their meal.But the wait staff was really struggling to keep up. They completely forgot our appetizer (which they obviously removed from the bill) and at one point we felt like we had to practically beg someone for drink refills, and eventually flagged down a different waiter who helped us out but his tables were also without drinks...so something was up with the service. They were all very friendly, just a little disorganized.

Great spot for yummy lunch of tasty burgers, fries, poutine, &milkshakes which are more of a dessert!!.. Generally busy, quick service..with a nice pation on the main ztreet.. drinks served in measuring cups..fun!! Entree in tin trays...

Wow the Jamaican was horrible. The sauce tastes so processed it ruins the whole chicken breast. I always get the bad tasting meal here but my finances is always good. Hit and miss :(

The location right by the lake is very nice. You have a lot of fun understanding the menu and with the weird glasses etc. The menu offers a great variety of what seems to be gourmet burgers but when you actually get them they are nothing special. The service was poor.

The atmosphere is nice, in a nice part of town. from the looks of it the meat menu seemed to impress. i was not happy to get a boca burger as my veggie patty. i think any vegetarian would be unhappy to receive a boca burger patty from a "gourmet" chain.
