Wimpy's Diner - Oakville

I used to frequent Wimpy's for burgers a long time ago and remembered them being quite good. I decided to order from them this weekend and was shocked at how much things have changed. While I'm sure other items on the menu are delicious, the burgers were disappointing. The meat was over-processed and dry, becoming as hard as cardboard by the time I got home. I was disappointed with the quality of the patties and realized that their gimmick of making them oval was simply to disguise the fact that they were over-processed. While I have no complaints about the service or the restaurant itself, I cannot recommend their burgers. I have had much better burgers at Wendy's or McDonald's. The service, however, was great and efficient.

I ordered the Western on toast, which was very good. The coffee was strong. The service was excellent - the waitress checked on me three times and was very polite. However, the decor definitely needs an update. It has gone downhill since my last visit years ago. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I cant write enough to say how disgusting this place is an the service an being ripped of...none of the food here is good i have eatin from here many times only thing i can stomach here is a breakfast sandwish if they manage to not screw that up

Upon arrival, the waitress was outside cleaning the windows! The same waitress went from window cleaner to food server!!!!! I ordered the Wimpy eggs benedict. The eggs were perfectly cooked, however, the home fries were so overcooked they could not be digested. I left them. The waitress went from serving my food to cleaning the booths with a nasty smelling spray cleaner?? #HealthDept

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to this Wimpy's. I think they have finally given up. The food was good but they really need to step it up. To start with the server brought me my coke without a straw. We had to go up to the counter to get it. Then I ordered my fish and chips and she didn't bring the appropriate condiments. Again we had to ask for it. We noticed that another patron came in after us and ordered something and it came out very soon. My friend and I considered ourselves loyal and frequent customers when the service was better. This night we had to wait for everything and it is inexcusable!
