7&46 Shop - Oakwood

After returning from our home in Haliburton, we decided to try the food truck located next to the 746 shop and we are so glad we did. They had just introduced their autumn menu, which featured some really great items. Despite the tempting choices, I stuck with my favorite poutine and onion rings. It took some time for the food to be prepared, but there was plenty to see around the shop and a beautiful garden in the back where we could enjoy our meal or take our dog for a walk. My wife also found something nice at the store. When our food finally arrived, I was impressed by the large portion of poutine! It was massive and loaded with authentic squeaky cheese curds. The onion rings were also delicious, albeit slightly broken. I have to say that this poutine was one of the best I have ever tasted and our dog, Serenity, absolutely loved the cheese curds. We will definitely be returning next year. You must check out this place!

This is a wonderful spot for dining al fresco. Unlike many restaurants that have outdoor seating in a parking lot or on the sidewalk due to Covid, this place offers tables set up in a beautiful park with plenty of trees and green space. The tables are spaced more than two meters apart, ensuring a safe and comfortable dining experience.

We've been driving from here for the last few years and we've never stopped as we're always on the road. Today on the Canada Day we decided to eat for a bite and tour the terrain fantastic decision. You have... a meticulously great task to prep the dining areas for the summer. Beautiful live edge table set for 10 or a beautiful small terrace under a tree. A good choice for those who only choose what suits you, or maybe you have the kids and have to leave them at stand-up sand boxes ; The food truck. That's all you need to know. They have traditional dishes along with new school Thai cauliflower bites and even the Jenseits Burger. As I ordered our food, I noticed the Ace Bakery logo on the back of a bag. I wondered surprisingly Are you here with Ace Bakery bread???? She turned with a smile and advised that yes, only the best here. Crazy!!! I love that and the love they put in food. A nice clean kitchen, food truck, courteous service. We make this a regular stop at the cottage weekends. Thank you. They are for putting your passion forward and bringing a new level to the food table. I am really grateful for your desire to deliver the best. The store is just as perfect. A beautiful selection of gifts, aromatherapy products, cottage pieces and of course ice cream. But not cheap and dirty ice, Nope, Kawartha Dairy. Right. Maybe try a milkshake, you won't be disappointed. A great stop for the family or even if you are going out this way. Visit the site, get an ice cream and have a great visit!!! Drew

This shop has a very unique combination of gifts and foods. Their Kawartha Dairy ice portions are large and their custom cakes are the best.

Great ice cream, easy access and clean. Worth the stop if your heading by. Store offers a good variety of items, but the I've cream is why we stop.
