In addition to mini fried rice, you can also order a combination of 2-3 items like fried chicken and shumai. The dumplings are especially recommended - they have a strong garlic flavor and go perfectly with alcohol.
In a word, it was a Showa retro set meal restaurant~ Handwritten menus, flavors of each dish, the design of the shop, and price range all reflect that era... The restaurant is run by a kind elderly couple from the Showa generation. From a Heisei gourmet perspective, it may only be a 3, but I gave it a 4 for the fact that everything has remained the same since the Showa era! It's delightful to see this precious dining establishment, which has become increasingly rare over time, still operating in the Ooi Old Town area~ I hope the shop continues as long as the husband stays healthy... Thank you for the nostalgic flavors of each dish.
Visited for a banquet. Ramen was served as the final dish and I was full. I revisited and tried the pork rice (1450 yen including tax). I wanted to eat the garlic grilled meat that was served at the banquet, so I revisited again. The flavorful grilled meat was excellent, but I am concerned about my work in the afternoon. There were three customers including myself. There were three cars in the parking lot, and everyone except me was drinking draft beer in a stein.
