Catalpa Cafe - Oark

My family and I have been traveling to eat a Catalpa from Northwest Arkansas for the last couple years. Randy makes the best burgers we have ever had, and his pies are amazing. This is the only burger we would ever drive nearly 2 hours for anywhere. We will continue to visit when we can after we make our move to Minnesota. Always amazing food Randy.

This is truly the best hidden gem I've ever come across by chance. While it’s accessed via a gravel road, it’s absolutely worth the trek. Randy is an incredible chef—one of the best I’ve encountered. My group ordered four different dishes, and he prepared everything in about 15 minutes, all to the highest quality, and managed to cook everything simultaneously. Every dish we had was fantastic: the French toast, roasted potatoes, burger, and Broccoli-Cheddar soup were all exceptional. My only regret is not discovering this place sooner. Treat yourself to a meal here!

It's the best one-man show in Backwood's Arkansas. The chef is a five-star talent, and the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy.

Incredible food! I traveled quite a distance to eat here, and it was absolutely worth it. We ordered several dishes, and everything was delicious. We even got a piece of cake to take home because we were so full, and my only regret is not trying it sooner. I'm definitely coming back!
