Scrummies - Oatley

Visited this place regularly for coffee and a few meals whilst visiting family. It has nice meals and very friendly staff, coffee is good and some of the food is a little more interesting than some of the other local cafes..

Delicious food, great coffee & warm & friendly service. This was our first time at Scrummies & it certainly won't be our last.

Dropped into Scrummies for coffee, bacon and eggs and a caramel slice.Coffee was mid-strong and creamy. We are big coffee drinkers and were delighted to receive a great cup!Bacon and eggs were fresh and tasty, however, we had a bit of difficulty keeping the egg yolk from running off the breadboard onto the table. Serving the meal on a breadboard does look impressive but perhaps something with a lip to prevent the spillage would be better for runny-type meals.The paleo caramel slice had a nice crunchy base, smooth caramel and dark chocolate top. A very satisfying crack as you take a bite.Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Service was always with a smile.Cafe is comfortable and warming. Great cleanliness overall.Will definitely return.

I was pleasantly surprised by this café. The food was amazing and looked too good to eat. They had many Paleo desserts and even had Paleo bread for sale(homebaked on site)

I usually go to Scrummies for the great coffee so can't say too much about the food. The coffee is always nice and packs a punch! A sign of a good cafe-you get water on the table before you order. The menu looks fine for cafe food and I have tried the interesting sweets for special dietary needs-gluten free, dairy free, raw foods.They sell an interesting variety of gourmet groceries too. Scrummies opens later in the afternoon than most nearby cafes. Chairs are those common metal ones, not comfortable for too long but many cafes in the area have them.
