I ordered the meal 10 on her menu that comes with toast. my toast did not arrive, even after I had finished my fruits, so I asked about the toast. When I went to pay, I was calculated extra for butter and jam, although I did not order that. I would have been happy to pay if the older man I suspect the manager was more polite about the situation. it was not even about the additional fee, it was how the situation was treated. he kept me waiting for him to talk to the waiter about whether I ordered jam and butter. obviously the waiter said, I ordered it, clearly because he didn't want to get into trouble. After a re-and-fro talk, the manager finally agreed to lift the appeal for jam and butter. I thought this would be the end, but if I had to pay my credit card, the manager with an employment asked me for cash money and would not take my card. I had paid the last two tomorrow without any problems. I just felt he was clumsy because that happened. again we went to the bank three times before he took my credit card as a payment. if this gentleman is the manager, he has to learn how to treat his customers and he has now lost a customer because I do not return after he has been treated like that.
What a beautiful place! Sweet little terrace with tropical birds. the breakfasts are delicious and certainly plentiful. I had the enfrijoladas with tesajo, and my companion had the deomatados with cecina blanca. both traditional Oaxaqueño breakfast, with fresh abl and espresso. I loved every bite.
On the way to cafe alex there was a bit local, I have tried the pollen mexican with chips and rice, the eating was good overall, there are some papageien in the back
We went to café Alex in search of a soup and had a lovely meal. We did wait a little while but that’s because it was made fresh and it was SO worth the wait. Would definitely recommend the Aztec soup and the fresh fruit...salad. Plenty of vegetarian options that can be made vegan. Great staff, but yes, the birds are noisy!!
You want a lot, you want real Mexican, you want a good price, you don't to be disappointed: go to cafe Alex! Nice staff, noisy birds
