And live music later in the evening! Oh and also a kids play place for the young ones to burn off some energy!
Ok, why did I say "not for first time travelers"? Because this is the kind of place that can give a solid case of "tourista" to your virginal intestinal tract. If you are well-traveled and have already inoculated yourself with the local bacterial profile, go for it!The tlayudas are very tasty, and the beer is cold. There is a salad-bar type structure with a selection of unrefrigerated toppings that can add a little saucy spice (and an added dose of bacteria) to your selection. I am well-accustomed to eating in this sort of not so clean roadside type restaurant, but it was my friend's first time in Mexico. I advised her to eat her tlayuda without any "condiments" and she did just fine. A hearty meal for 4 of us, with a round of drinks cost $30. Give it a try!
