Feedback gevenWe stayed in a brand new King room. Spotlessly clean with a very high end finish. We had a dream meal at the Steakhouse restaurant. We ate entirely fish dishes and they were delicious. Good wine menu reasonably priced. Lovely location we booked by chance. Lovely manicured gardens I'd highly recommend this accomodation.
We were looking forward to a memorable dinner for two.Early observations we're very good, dining room was excellent, well layed out, plenty of room between tables. Very friendly and professional staff and a wine list second to none. Obviously a sommelier who knows his stuff and is proud of it.But the kitchen needs to lift it's game for five stars.Too many spring onions on the oysters overpowered the delicate flavors of the oysters.The rump steak was excellent but too large a piece and not thick enough to be cooked "blue".Most disappointing was the affogato. Way too much ice cream and not smooth and creamy, over frozen lots of pieces of ice.
Staff all treated us with a warm welcome, choice of local beers was great and the food was absolutely outstanding! Quite expensive to feed two people but despite that, I'll still return when next in the area.
So che questa recensione non farà contenti gli animalisti, ma... viaggiando lungo la costa sud si vedono tanti allevamenti di Angus, che per chi apprezza la carne non possono che far venire appettito. Ecco se fate parte di questa categoria. Di gente che ama mangiare la carne, apprezza il saperla cucinare alla perfezione e apprezza il saperla accompagnare da salse, contorni o ottimo vino. Ecco dovete venire qui!!Ha molta influenza italiana (anche se non penso siano italiani). Carta dei dolci di tutto rispetto.Prezzi in linea con la qualità
Abbiamo soggiornato e cenato al the Barn e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Forse i piatti più buoni che io abbia mai mangiato un tutto il mio viaggio in giro per l'Australia; servizio impeccabile ovviamente! Consigliatissimo
