Feedback gevenHoliday 2016 Day 2 – Part 2: Franks Kulinarium at Parkhotel Frank in Oberstdorf When I was a small bubble, my father has repeatedly told me: The big ones get everything pushed into the throat, the little ones have to survive hard. I wouldn't say that, but he was right then. If I keep my modest wage role in my hand, watch what I deserve, and the small net comes out below, I wonder why the millionaires in Germany have to pay only 30% tax, and there are also the many tax holes. But no matter what, my wife and I wanted to be one of the “Great” and reserved a few days ago at the 5 star Superior Wellness Hotel “Frank” in Oberstdorf, what happened to my father and his brother, almost my uncle, in the top (and that was only incompatible with our vacation). However, we must say that we enjoyed everything we have experienced in Parkhotel Frank from the first minute to the departure in full course. We liked it so well that we stayed at the hotel again 3 days in July. I know we're not here, but I want to go to the hotel for a minute. We had a standard room that was amazingly large with 35 square meters, the shower had 360 degrees nozzles, from each wall came various showers, so in the morning the shower became an experience. The spa area was redesigned, with my phone I added 4 pictures to a photo, I will upload it. Famile Frank gave us a 5-gourmet menu on the day of arrival. Check-in was a pleasure. We got a free welcome drink, I chose a glass of champagne, my wife for a fruit juice choir. The minibar (first filling free consisted of two wines from cows from Laumersheim and a red wine Cuvee from Knippser, numerous soft drinks, a small bottle of Schampus. Although we had only booked breakfast, we literally got everything “for nothing” in our neck. So my father should be right. The gifted “Gourmet Menu” consisted of 5 courses, with only three real courses. Previously there was an amous bouch (like the first band that was a spring Pesto paprika mouse with red paprika and red parika jelly and fresh herbs. That was a fantastic start of a very good menu. Barchef Uwe recommended two white wines at the bar (I drank an export beer for Slap 5 Euro). It was patriotic, but I can't remember that we were too ko from the many sauna courses (the sauna world was renovated in April 2016, but the prices for this were perfect for 7 euros each. As a second walk you can use the salad buffet, the motto was in the evening “The spring-light salad buffet with various tomatoes and 2 types of feta cheese”, which was completely consecrated, even if one or the other salad noticed that it “healed”. As the actual first gear there was a carrot ginger foam with healthy coriander oil lush. The soup came a little too hot on the table, but was nice creamy, excellent taste, light acidity, I also tasted some potatoes (both binding, it could have listened to a tick more ginger, nevertheless it tasted delicious and made fun of more. The main course was the evening highlight, dressing and preparation. „Rosa schmortes“ by Allgäuer Milchkalb on tomatoes Grießstrudel on Melange Noir Jus. The calf was so tender and juicy that I could crush it with my tongue on the palate. The Grießstrudel could have been a little bigger, the Jus excellent. As a conclusion there was the “Oberstdorfer Scheiterhaufen” with plastered red wine cherries and nougateis. The use was simply sensational, the Nougateis unfortunately not from the Paccojet we had already in the past (clear, better, it tasted too much for coffee (why also the pepper cherries could have tolerated a pepere, so there was one, two lathes from the red wine bottle (see picture). In the evening, after dinner, Deutsche Telekom Werkmannschaft from Munich finished the Champions League Final in Milan with the 2:1 home win against Atletico (although I finally participated in the Munichs, which is very rare, it was at this time just before 20:45 and my place in the fireplace room (the TV had a diagonal of over 2 meters after me, otherwise I would have served myself. The dinner (which was added to the house 30 euros, for us a tick too much because of the very small portions and the lack of satisfactory supplements, it was very good for us. The services are all friendly and attentive, but there are some smaller deficits that the Vartaguide evaluates the service in Franks Kulinarium with very good 3 diamonds, so that I come to a total cut of 4.5 stars, also because of the excellent breakfast offer in the coming days (Lachs, Sect etc.). Conclusion: We liked it so well that we returned a full day in 10 weeks.
We had to spend a very nice short holiday in the parkhotel frank again. everything worked super, the staff was very friendly. absolutely recommended!
