Zur Eiche - Oberthal

For 6 years I have been living here and only by chance I have been able to get that Zur Eiche in summer is not only an ice cream parlour that is also offered Italian food. A few weeks ago my wife was not home in the evening and so I decided to order a pizza once. It remains to be said first: The place, hotel really looks anything but inviting. It urgently needs a renovation, and in addition, you do not try to maintain the outdoor installation. My ice cream parlour in Bosen, unfortunately burned down last winter, so this year we have to get some other ice cream, next year they want to reopen in Bosen. As I said, I've only thought of getting ice here. Inside a guest room can be seen, with a large counter, if the ice counter was only occupied and is not integrated into the room. The ice is also the lowest moderate. He's a nice guy, you say she's arrogant. The store has no soul, there is no heart blood. Unfortunately, it was also reflected on the pizza. I can't say much more, I had the Pizza Rucola and it was the worst pizza I've ever eaten including the TK pizzas. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a TK pizza. Otherwise she was made in the pizza sheet. Freshly prepared as promised on the website...no case. For almost 10 euros much too expensive. I'm sorry, I'm gonna keep getting my pizza from the Turks on the other side of the street, because it's really good.

The house has a very nostalgic effect. The reception and check-in ran smoothly, we were received very hospitable. The rooms (single rooms I had) are very small, but sufficient. The equipment and shower in the room have come a few years, the TV is small, but everything is clean (also the fan grill in the bathroom I always consider to be a good sign). The WLAN reception is also good. The single rooms are obviously not the same, the decor is different, also the wallpaper or the colors, acts “like with grandma”, which is not negative, but cozy and warm. Speaking of warm: I slept with tilted windows. It was very cool at night, but my blanket wasn't designed yet. Probably the summer bed blanket on it. It should be respected. Breakfast was really good, especially the Omelet with bacon. I don't know how they were done, but I haven't eaten yet. The coffee comes from a good machine. You can't expect anything extraordinary for this price. But it was clean, it was good, and I would come back.

We were kindly received and met the owners as very nice people. The rooms are very clean and clean. The shower is a little tight, but she didn't bother. The beds were good and we slept very well. Dinner was delicious and the pizza is only recommended. Also the breakfast was loving and plentiful. In short, we were very satisfied and at a good value for money. We can only recommend this hotel.
