Royal Oaks Golf Club - Ocala

The supervision went well this year, so the course looks green. Fairways has some areas that lead to tight lies, but overall very playable. The biggest problem for me is the bunkers. Many have steep faces, because of too much sand, the ball will fit into the face more often than not. Hard to get a foot on the steep sides, and usually not from the bunker to play a shot. I'm hitting the ball, so I'm not hitting lineages in the bunker, but the ball stops, 6 to 18 from the bunker's lip. This slow game, and a majority of people who play can either not come out of this situation, or have to drop the ball into the bunker. Overall beautiful course. Some work has been done on cart thread, but more has to be done.

We live on the course, love to watch as they stage the player and work very hard to keep it in shape. I see her mowing and blowing out the area at 5:00. Great work with irrigation

Great layout, good fairways and greens. Most times you need two players to book a tee time. If you can't find someone to play with your screwed. Don't care for this policy.

Busy. Linguini carbonara was great. Cheeseburger also.

I live here....the Golf Course is beautiful! I enjoy the Gym, large Pool and Hot tub. Never eaten at club but hear lunches are delicious.
