It’s nice to find a restaurant that puts a little thought into food. The Caesar and red quinoa were delicious.

Great food, atmosphere and service. We love coming here. They have a few solid vegan options and they will sub daiya cheese on any of their amazing pizzas. Dog friendly patio.

While staying in Bodega Bay, we were unimpressed with the dinner options available, so we decided to explore further. This turned out to be a great decision, as we would have missed out on one of the best pizzas we have ever had. The restaurant is charming, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. We ordered the mushroom pizza, which was incredibly delicious. I wish I lived closer so that I could enjoy it more often. I highly recommend stopping by, even if it means taking a detour from your original route.

Hazel is a hidden gem among the dining options in Occidental. The owner, who has a strong background in fine dining, has brought his expertise to this cozy and charming restaurant. While the ambiance may be unremarkable, the delicious food and exceptional service more than make up for it. The Pot Roast and Wild Salmon were both outstanding, with generous portions that can be shared or enjoyed as leftovers. I highly recommend Hazel!

We are so thankful for the opportunity to dine at this restaurant. It was clear why they were so busy – the food was absolutely delicious. Bruce provided excellent service and made our dining experience one to remember. Thank you! We returned the following night because the menu was so impressive. The ribs were incredibly tasty, with the meat falling off the bone. The brick oven pizza was perfectly crisp and delicious.
