I honestly don't think the chicken and beef are chicken and beef. After having Chinese food from my go to place at home I'm even more convinced that Happy doesn't use actual chicken and beef.
We were in town visiting and was pleasantly surprised by the dishes. We had combination chicken lomein and we absolutely loved it. You know how usually chinese dishes has that pool of oil at the bottom of the packet, this doesn?t! It doesn?t feel heavy and was seasoned perfectly. We also had the grilled wing tips. It was heavenly! Perfectly meaty without making you feel full. Sauce was not too sweet too. A pity this restaurant is 4hours away, otherwise we would?ve
Decent food, fast service. Shrimp fried rice only had a handful of shrimp. And skimped on the fried rice. However, rest of the order was good. Take out only
Fast, cheap, and delicious. It 's hard to beat those 3 things when ordering food. They only do take-out, no dining in or delivery. I think that helps with their efficiency. I love their dumplings (steamed and fried) and have grown to be utterly addicted to their cheesesteak egg rolls, awesome lo mein too. If you 're like me and usually strapped for cash you absolutely cannot beat the value of their Happy Specials , it comes with: 1 soup or soda, 2 spring or egg rolls, and
Not too bad. It's OK. Their general tofu (bean curd) seems good, not the best. The sauce tasted more of sweet and sour sauce and less like general tso. The broccoli and brown sauce was OK. The vegetable fried rice was pretty good. The vegetable spring rolls were overly salty and overly greasy, I wasn't a fan honestly. You order food through a custom window of their front door. Not a bad idea. Obviously you can't go into the restaurant right now, so there's no restrooms
