Higgins Crab House North - Ocean City

I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos, which were drenched in salsa and quite messy to eat. I ordered the soft shell crab sandwich, and it was terrible—there are no words to really describe how bad it was. The only highlight of the meal was the Diet soda.

This restaurant is fantastic! The snow crab legs were cooked perfectly: hot, easy to crack open, and impressively large, bursting with flavor. The clams and mussels were the best I've ever tasted. The service was incredibly quick and efficient.

Higgins South is superior. We've visited both the North and South locations, and found the food at Higgins North to be average. The restaurant itself seems somewhat outdated and could be cleaner.

We had an amazing experience at Higgins today. We are here on vacation and we're looking for a good place for all you can eat crab and it was great. the service was amazing and our waiter Eric was the best waiter that we have EVER had. He helped us with everything we needed, made us laugh, and really made the whole experience even better. He was just such a genuine person and recommended the fried chicken for my fiancé that wasn't really feeling crab tonight. You would probably expect the chicken at a Seafood restaurant to be sub-par but it was the BEST fried chicken we have ever had. The place was super welcoming and family friendly. Very clean and well kept. again, amazing service and great food!

Higgins is a quality crab house in OC. Their cream of crab soup was a great way to start the meal. We ordered the seafood sampler. Everything tasted good. I really enjoyed the soft shell crab. The service and atmosphere was quality.
