I wasn 't driving and really didn 't pay much attention to the parking lot but I do remember thinking that it was very small and looked like ya might need to be a stunt driver to utilize some of those parking spaces during busier times. As we walked through the entrance the atmosphere, ambience, (whatever) was actually inspiring. A very casual beach party vibe complete with boardwalk, outdoor dining, sand, picnic tables with umbrellas, outdoor kitchen and bar, as well as a souvenir shop. This was all great, really liking our choice of eaterys at this point. Our waitress came quickly, handed out menus and took our drink orders. The DJ started his session with some 80`s music, not too bad, but that didn 't last. Opened the menu and this is where my hope started to fade. The menu is small (in my opinion) with few options, and the prices were (again in my opinion) a bit out of line for what I 'm seeing. But, I still had hopes for some really great food, I mean with these prices the foods gotta be good, right? And I 'm sure they must give oversized portions, right?Yeah, Big NOOOOOO! There were 7 people in my party and NO-ONE, let me repeat 0 peoples out of 7 were happy with their meal. I ate maybe 3 of my wings, another person took 2 bites of their cheesesteak, which looked absolutely amazing, but boy can looks be deceiving. Another got the fish tacos, which consisted of 3 large homemade shells that looked fabulous, however, there was not even enough taco filling to make even 1 regular sized taco let alone 3 large taco shells. I could go on but... oh and the DJ ???.
Found this place on a whim. Getting there at night was a little sketchy as it seemed like how is this taking us to a Pier? We made it though!I wish I had taken more pictures of the outside and inside, but it really is a while vibe. There are a few different areas to sit at that can provide a different atmosphere. We were sat in the sand, at a hexagonal picnic table, that had an umbrella all set up. We were there pretty well after sunset, and I do wish the sand area had overhead soft lights running throughout the picnic area for some additional lighting. So after you walk in, there 's the sand seats, a large bar off the side, at least an upper deck that looks over the bay and maybe a small patio on the lower deck. They have an open kitchen, and a large band stand for live music.I decided to try the peach crush, as I like the orange and may I say... I think the peach might edge out the orange. This one was made really well, not too sweet and not too heavy on the pour. I could taste all the flavors and they mixed so well. For dinner I had the fish sandwich, which was HUGE. It was two fillets of cod, with a light crispy batter. I upgraded to the truffle fries, which they gave a super generous portion in my opinion. The balsamic glaze drizzled over the fries sets everything off and I liked dipping my sandwich in it too!If we hadn 't been out walking all afternoon I think we would have more gumption to go up there stairs to see what type of view there was. From the bottom patio, you could see all the boats docked or coming in to dock for the night. It was very nice.Service was really nice, they didn 't hover but also didn 't feel like they forgot about you. The night we went out was pretty chill, our waitress said that it 's been different every week that one week that are slammed another they are kind of light so I can 't comment on if it 's always real busy or not but I liked it not being so busy that night .I would for sure come back to this place again in the future.Parking: There 's some parking up front and then along the side and I think directly across the street.
Had a entire softball team plus family lunch down here during Nationals in July on short notice. Vinny from Pier 23 was more than accommodating. Got the entire upstairs to ourselves. Great atmosphere and great comfort food. Service was a little slow to start but did pick up. I would definitely come back again.
We went for drink have orange crusher and dirty banana drinks we will be back for food the server was awesome place was great can't wait to go back in evening for live music
Good for a quick bite. Food was solidly good, but not exceptional. The atmosphere was pleasant with live music playing while we ate. Cost of the meal was appropriate for what we ordered. Disappointed that tableware was all disposable because I am big on not using plastic cups/utensils unless necessary.
