Galway Bay Irish Pub, And Gift Shop

I visited Galway Bay for the second time and, like my first visit, I was underwhelmed by the food. I had hoped that trying traditional Irish dishes would be a highlight, but the sausage in pastry was mediocre and the Colcannon side dish was bland and uninteresting. The cod dish was the biggest letdown as it seemed to lack any flavor or substance, with only celery and no sign of fish or potatoes. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and a good bar, but I don't think I would return specifically for the food.

This place was a good time! great music and eating. best shepards pie in my life! and everything else on the table was also great! these oysters break well!

We had dinner at this Irish pub and it was quite good. Clean restaurant with well spaced tables. We had an appetizer of bacon artichoke dip with pita bread that was quite tasty. We had shepherds pie that was served piping hot…a very good comfort food dinner. Dessert included a generous slice of carrot cake that was also very satisfying. The pub had a gent playing the piano, mostly oldies like the Beatles and Elton John. My husband especially enjoyed the live music as he sipped his Stella beer. It was a warm, relaxed and comforting evening.

I met the Pope! Well the Pope of Ocean Shores anyway. I could taste the food in my DNA! We were there on St Paddy's Day, what a treat! Gotta have some Bangers and Mash but the lamb chops melted off the bone! Fun and Friendly!

Fun, great food, great service! They have Irish live music weekends after 6pm…. Food was well worth the cost. Enjoyed bangers and calcannon… friend had a veggie pasty… both portions huge snd delicious
