Had to come up here for a few and take care of something. Was nice to see that they are checking temperatures on the way in. No food or drinks allowed, so it requires you to keep your mask on the whole time. The track building is kept very clean. Everyone seems friendly and making the best of new normal. Social distancing is being enforced. Feels nice to come up and be able to take care of my bets and wages and have a safe state of mind.
Some may say it looks old or out dated, personally it feels like nostalgia. Monmouth is an old school race track that runs seasonal live races with a William Hill Sports Book and Bar/Restaurant. The building is old, no doubt. But it is kept clean and in working order, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food at the bar is decent for bar food. We come up this way for business but try to time up a visit to the track to see the ponies running. *One of our visits was during COVID19, the social distancing, mask, and no outside food and beverage are clearly marked and enforced, definitely a safe feeling and light crowds at the moment.
Love it!!!! Nice Atmosphere, drinks and good food and a lot of activity, you won’t fall sleep!
If your going to place a bet with the William Hill this place hits all the basic requirements. As far aesthetically pleasing this venue is a bit on the older side. Lines can be lengthy depending on the season and what's going on sports wise.
