Frozen Side Ice Cream - Oceanside

Normally I like to promote local mom and pop places, and this place did have a very friendly staff and a nice selection of ice cream, the problem started when I went outside to eat it. I started hearing a strange noise I couldn’t place and started looking around for it. Eventually I focused on the light fixture over the front door, and when I stood up and really looked at it, what I saw was mice trying to claw their way out. Absolutely disgusting! I get that pest issues happen, but places that serve food need to be much more vigilant about it than anywhere else. People could get sick and that should be a huge concern , especially when the major of their customers are children!

I went all the way there a couple nights ago before 10 p.m. and they were closed ,when it said online they close at 10:30 p.m... what's up with that?

Wow! Amazing ice cream! Stopped here on my way home from the beach and will definitely return. My husband had the cherry vanilla and my son had Cookie Monster. Both raved about their ice cream. I tried the chocolate soft serve vegan and it was better than regular soft serve. It actually tasted like chocolate and didn't melt right away. I wish I lived closer to this place. It would be my go to! Don't pass this place up. It's worth it!

Delicious ice cream and excellent service! A perfect stop after a day at the beach on the way back home to the city. Definitely coming back to try more flavors ?
