Nd Banh Mi - Oceanside

This banh mi is not substantial, and the pho lacks flavor and vibrancy. Additionally, the cleanliness of this place is quite concerning; I’m surprised it passes health inspections. Updated from the previous review on February 1, 2022.

I went and check this point when I was in vista because the only other option that sounded good was chipotle. the brot on the sandwich was crispy and fresh and soft. the tofu was also super good. in any case it is worth checking, especially if they are in the neighbourhood.

There aren't any vegan restaurants in Oceanside, so this has become my go-to spot. The owner and his wife are usually there to greet customers, and they always do so with a smile. They frequently come up with new vegan options. I particularly enjoy their tofu bánh mì sandwiches and the vermicelli dishes. They've also switched the boba recipe in their green tea from honey to brown sugar in response to requests from vegans. Occasionally, they offer vegan cakes in their bakery as well. If you ask about vegan options, they'll take great care of you. The braised tofu is exceptional.

The first time here and decided to give it an attempt as I try different Pho places. I enjoy Thai tea, but that's what it's all about. I had the 1 protein Pho as they were low on the tendon and the other proteins. Only protein available was brisket and meatball. I was with the bride. The bowl was a big size, but it had very few noodles. The brisket was tender, but had many fat pieces. The broth was not very tasty. I tasted and saw coriander. They were nice enough to make me a side of onions with vinegar that I appreciated. But sad to say I won't be back. Good customer service and friendly.

This place used to be great, but they changed management. Food is mediocre now. We gave him a second chance today, and the food is still moderate and they forget our order! We waited for an hour before we finally asked for a refund to go elsewhere. They just shocked and prepared our food after we asked for a refund. Never come back. EDIT: I'm here today. My order was called at 11:00. I had to wait until 12:10 until my order was finally prepared for the risk of a refund. Don't listen to the owner's answer. The fact that they refuse to apologize for their mistake, says everything.
