Roberto's Taco Shop - Oceanside

Roberto's has multiple taco stands throughout the city. Their fast food is satisfying and perfect for a quick order and takeout. My go-to is always the carnitas burrito. While the restaurant may not be fancy and could use some tidying up, the food is consistently delicious.

There is something truly magical happening in the kitchen of this restaurant! We dined there three times in just four days - that's how good it is.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! We stopped in for a quick lunch and were impressed by how fast our food arrived. The man at the counter was friendly and efficient. The prices were reasonable and we ordered California burritos, which were delicious and filling. Unlike other burrito places, each bite had a perfect balance of ingredients without any clumps of just one filling. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The only thing I would change is the Salsa Verde - it was good but could have been spicier. However, this wouldn't stop me from returning in the future. Highly recommended!

This is one of the most OG places in Oceanside...they do have the best California burritos but the tortas are top notch too....all the food we've tried is great

I've been eating at this taco shop since the late 1980's when it was across the street where the Rite Aid is now on the corner of Oceanside Blvd Hill St. Back then it was the only place open 24hrs so the best place to stop for a late night weekend snack. The new location doesn't have the fun vibe the old location had, but the food hasn't changed. The rolled tacos are the best here especially with the Mexican cheese. The taquitos are still just as good as when I first visited. The torta carne asada burrito also recommended. There normal asada burrito has meat, pico de gallo guacamole. If you want rice beans you need to ask.
