Whelan’s Coffee Ice Cream

I love the coffee, the friendly faces, the lounge upstairs, everything! Our family loves Whelans!

If you’re in Oconomowoc I highly recommend Whelan’s! If you’re like me and truly, truly enjoy high quality coffee then this is the go-to place! I’ve tried other coffee shops in the area and they all fell flat in comparison. From the friendly staff (Laurel and Julie), to the selection of baked goods and ice cream, to the “kick back and relax” hometown vibe, Whelan’s is truly a diamond in the rough!

Whelans is an adorable little coffee/ice cream shop. The setup with various spaces to sit and visit are great plus they have board games to keep folks busy connecting. Lots of yummy coffee and ice cream options and I LOVE their acai bowl the granola is so good! Everything I visit downtown Oconomowoc, this is a stop for sure!

A really nice coffee shop with incredible atmosphere. The 2nd level is really nice with ample seating, games, and great decor. I had a cruller and it was excellent. Especially dunking it. I also had a Cappuccino which had the perfect amount of foam and milk. Saw a church group there as well as students and folks just hanging out. Really nice quiet place.

Love Whelans. Always a great place for coffee and açaí bowl.
