A simple, typical portuguese restaurant. The entrance is a cafe/"tasca" and in the back is the dining room. It offers acceptable regional food at affordable prices.

Os Bons Amigos is one of those restaurants that are easily missed due to it looking a bit like a grotty bar from the outside. It is actually very typical of many of the places, not to be underated, in Odemeira. Upon entering you are faced with well, a grotty bar, but at the back is a large(ish) restaurant which is always busy. The food is very good, typically Portuguese, and very reasonably priced. Similarly the wine list reflect this. For those who over indulge, there is also a B & B available which is clean, comfortable & reasonable. Ask for details at the bar. The place is located just prior to crossing the bridge across the Rio Mira, travelling from the south. As the night progresses the bar enjoys the company of many local clients - who appear to have lived forever. The only downside - parking is a bit limited. Great place.
