What a great place, the whole hole in the wall bring your own drinks! Try the Taiwanese style fish! I've never had that before and was so unique and tender. Mildly spicy, great!
The first time in this restaurant. The device and food were below average with service and food. The food was not of the best quality of freshness. The Brocolli looked like a pale day old and the shrimps were very shimped and gum-like. They don't put enough shrimp even if they pay extra shrimps. Unfortunately there are not many Chinese restaurants nearby. I won't return.
Talk about a hidden jewel! We had our first meal of Grace last night and it was just stellar. This is a very inconvenient place which is clamped into a strip on the side 175 . Every dish we had was full of taste. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the tip open to the crispy beef, so it doesn't get so tender, but apart from the packaging problem we had no regret! Can't wait to go back!
Authentic Chinese food. Taiwan fish, Crispy Aromatic Chicken, basil chicken, Szechuan braised beef/fish all amazing. Dec 2021: Crispy aromatic chicken (pic w whole chili peppers) was very flavorful one of my new favorites. Aug2020 Edit: Yes new owner/cook, but I'm still finding plenty of fantastic authentic Chinese options. Taiwan fish is now slightly better than before their braised fish (or pork) are still to die for. Basil Chicken not as good, but I still order it. I avoid their scallops dishes. Overcooked and gives me gas. Be aware most of the Chinese menu are large dinner size portions meant to serve two people, so they are more pricey, but the best outside of DC.
