It's Just Wings - Odessa

We ordered the apple wood smoked chicken wings last night, and unfortunately, we both became very ill about 45 minutes later. It was so severe that I had to call in sick to work this morning. Pretty concerning, right? I wouldn't recommend this place.

We settled into some uncomfortable high-top seats and waited for a bartender who never came. There were two empty tables behind us, and eventually, a couple walked in and sat at one of them. I approached the hostess and asked if we could move to the other table, which she wiped down for us, but still insisted that the bartender would serve us at the bar. After another ten minutes, I was ready to leave when the bartender finally arrived to take our drink orders. I'll spare you the details of the ongoing inconvenience, but we eventually received our overcooked and cold food. The French fries were the worst I’ve ever tasted. After that, the bartender disappeared again. Our meal came with a cookie, and I had to chase him down to ask for it to be packed up. After two hours and fifteen minutes, we finally left, and we definitely won’t be coming back. Some of this is on us since we had at least three opportunities to leave in the first half hour before we even got our food, but we chose to stay. Lesson learned.

Some of the worst tasting wings we've ever had. The wings were cooked well, however all lacked in flavor. The sauced ones were slightly better, but the dry rubs had barely a sprinkling of seasoning added after they had been cooked.

Might be the worst wings I’ve had. Wings had barely any sauce. They weren’t even tossed in sauce, they were drizzled. They forgot the sauces we paid extra for. Unfortunately the wings were flavorless and all around bad.
