My husbands colleague suggested this place as a terrific restaurant so when my husbands birthday came around we booked up. When we went it was very rainy and cloudy but under other circumstances that view would be absolutely stunning. The servers were amazing! I don't speak much German, I'm still learning, but when they found out I was Scottish they made a massive effort to speak English and I really appreciated that. They were fun and super friendly! The meal was tremendous! I had the Kalb Cordon Bleu and it was absolutely magical! I have been to many restaurants between Basel, Zurich, Ascona and everything in between but this was my favourite, by far. It is quite the trek up there but it is 100% worth the journey, you won't regret it!

The restaurant is simply great. The atmosphere is right thanks to friendly service staff and a cozy atmosphere. The view of the mountains and the landscape creates a cozy feeling. The food is fantastic. Not only the taste but also the appearance is in a class of its own. The price is completely justified for what you get.

We enjoyed a pleasant lunch with a delicious menu. The service was courteous and did a good job. We would be happy to recommend this location.
