Sibylla - Oernskoeldsvik

Sybilla Älmhult is a restaurant that I would not recommend. The food was very bad and the service from the staff was lacking. They served me smelly old fries and when I asked about it, they admitted that the oil was old but did not change it or offer an apology. Instead, they gave me newly fried fries from the same oil. Additionally, they showed a lack of understanding when it comes to allergies. Despite informing them about my daughter's milk protein allergy, they still tried to sell me a halloumi burger. Furthermore, they were frying fries and chicken in the same oil, increasing the risk of cross contamination. I highly advise against dining here, especially for those with allergies.

We were feeling hungry on our way back to our vacation home when we came across this restaurant. Situated at a busy intersection on the main road, it is hard to miss. There are plenty of tables inside and a good number outside. We chose to sit at an outdoor table. The weather was nice, although the view was not the best. We ordered some wings, onion rings, a cheeseburger, and some fries. All the items were satisfactory, as we had visited other branches before and knew what to expect. The food was decent and reasonably priced. The only two downsides were that the cheese on the burger could have been more melted as it was quite cold, and the outdoor tables were quite dirty. Despite these minor issues, it was a fine lunch. Overall, it was fast food but quite good.

Good food very tasty, but the hygien was not especially in the pandemic a leak from hand sanitizer in the store. Prices are good and affordable.

If you are a vegetarian (or like vegetarian food), this is the only place I know in Örnsköldsvik where you can get a soyaveggieburger. I always get the green meal, and I think it's very good. They also have a good soft ice bar with many choices for blows and sauces.
