Golden Jade - Ogden

The authentic Chinese cuisine at Golden Jade is excellent, and the restaurant truly captures a local vibe. I highly recommend it! As some reviewers have mentioned, prices have fluctuated over the years due to the rising cost of living and operating expenses. That said, the prices remain quite reasonable, and the portion sizes are generally large and worth the cost, especially considering the high quality of the food!

Please take note: All dinner menu items have increased in price from $12.50 to $13.31, including tax. Additionally, each extra add-on now costs $3. For example, bamboo shoots or water chestnuts, whether added to a meal or ordered separately, are priced at $3 each. It’s also important to mention that most menu items have raised their prices by $2.50 to $3.00. The food here is amazing! I searched online for a nearby restaurant and found this family-owned spot. It's simple and feels like you're dining in your own kitchen. The food was fantastic, so we even ordered an extra meal for our daughter to take home! It made for a lovely lunch for our travels.

I live in Layton, but I'm going up there because it's so delicious. General's chicken is my favorite! The marching soup is also great. All I had is good.

I don't think there is a place where you can get so much food for such a low price. It is really good too! Not the absolute best Chinese food I have had, but it is authentic. It is family run and today we walked in on 3 or 4 family members snapping fresh beans during lunch. They use good ingredients. My wife and I like the lunch specials. I enjoy the egg drop soup side and crab cheese wontons as an appetizer.
