It's been a while since I was, and it's about my experience my first time in this long time. I always liked Ligoris. I've been a customer since the 90s. I became a cartridge of Morellis in Layton when they opened more until they closed. So I'm back. I'm happy, but at the same time I'm disappointed. Plastic and dixie plates? Polystyrene drink cups? I understand if it should go, but in the dining room? And the coveted fear loses steam in the media, so all the salt and pepper and spices in the newspaper simply have to go. And when did the greed come in? Just a refill on your drink and then a further fee of you need more? I spent $60 and nothing really changed or impressed me to justify this insane price rise. The staff looked dirty, and they were in the dining room on a table next to the register, with some of them staring the guests as we ate. While our server was nice, I would have preferred to have had a 15-minute conversion with the person I went with rather than with it and would have appreciated more if it had placed in our order earlier. I'm going back. But I doubt I'll ever come back.
That's a little mom and pop. Nothing nice. The food is served on paper plates. Short employees like most places in these days. Just be patient until food arrives. My pizza was pretty good?
The food was served on paperboard with plastic cutlery. Waiting staff wasn't friendly at all. We have the pepperoni garlic bread and it was soggy. The marinara sauce tasted like it came from a can. It really had no taste. The garlic bread was extremely fat. I'll never be back. The location of the layman was so much better
They wrote on their Google My Business account, ?unpretentious parlor,? and it is very true. The place didn?t feel Italian at all. Actually, there was no real environment or vibe, but it was as expected from their claim. I ordered a half salad and they gave plenty of it. It was good but nothing beyond what I could have made myself, and came out on a plastic party plate. If you want a simple salad, this will do just fine. We also got raviolis, and there were only four of them. Sauce wasn?t all that amazing either and they were very overpriced for what they serve and they came out on a paper plate. This was the main disappointment of our order. Now where they do shine was the pizza itself. The pizza was quite good, looked well made, and had plenty of toppings. If it wasn?t on a paper plate, it could have been pretty impressive. If I go back, I will only order the pizza and nothing else. I will say I was pretty happy with the pizza, it?s the saving grace.
