Prairie Schooner Steak House - Ogden

It's a Western wagon-wheel themed restaurant with good steaks, au gratin potatoes and bread with honey butter. Everything was tasty, even the coffee. It's a fun restaurant to take visitors from out of town.

Just be careful of what you order and eat if you have allergies

I witnessed what I found to be the owner Julie Johnson belittle one of her employees in front of guests and staff. It was awful, the poor girl was humiliated. So unprofessional and horrifying. I have been to the Prairie Schooner several times in my 62 years and I will never go back. Julie you have no right to treat anyone like that. How dare you. You should be ashamed of yourself.That girl is someone’s Daughter,Sister,Wife,Mother, Granddaughter.

I'm super confused about the other reviews, our experience was not even close to those. This was my first time here and our food was awful, we came in on Friday and it was dead, that should have been our first clue....we NEVER got the complimentary bread, my husband had his prime rib sent back because everything on his plate was ice cold and it was served with sour cream instead of horse radish… My steak was grey but I kept it anyway and shared with my husband, my baked potato was luke warm at … – show
