Feedback gevenBBQ City is a Gouger Street institution. It has been around forever because it serves good food, all the time and is great value. The serves are generous and the prices are great. The menu is huge there is definitely something for everyone on here but you can't go past the roast meat hanging in the window duck, pork, chicken. Yum.
Classic Hongkong style all day eatery, we ordered the combination roast on rice, beef brisket on rice and stir fry rice noodle for the first time. All were yummy and good size. In the end we also got chicken fee takeaway- good for drinks. Came here again for dinner while we were still in Adelaide. They were quite busy for the dinner, which was nice to see.
We saw this place when we walked through Chinatown one night. It was very busy and there was even a line for dinner! We decided to come back one day to try it out. We went for lunch just after the lunch rush. We ordered the roast pork and roast duck on rice. The roast pork was the best roast pork I have ever had! I would definitely come back again! It was meaty with the right amount of fat. The crackling was amazing! It was crunchy and tasty! If you are looking for some good Chinese BBQ you can't go wrong with BBQ City.
The crispy roast pork, rost duck and the chicken was amazing, the other dish was just good.
